James Hoke

Founder, CEO

After receiving his MBA from Loyola University of Chicago, James began his career in the Staffing Industry as the Marketing Director for his family owned office and industrial staffing firm. His father founded the company shortly after WWII. James founded Med-Call Health Care in 1989. James is also the President and founder of Nursepower Services, Corp., a Pediatric Home Care Agency in Oak Lawn, IL. In his spare time James enjoys golf, tennis and spending any time he can with his grandchildren.

 

David L. Hoke

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, David enjoys managing and collaborating with the team of experts at Med-Call Healthcare and leading initiatives to continually evolve his family’s business. Prior to joining Med-Call Healthcare, David owned and operated a successful real estate financing firm. David holds a BA from Indiana University and lives in Chicago with his wife and two daughters.

 

Vanessa Knaak

Director of Operations

Vanessa has over 22 years of healthcare experience and 18 years of Healthcare Staffing experience in both the local Chicago market and nationwide. Vanessa attended college among the cornfields in DeKalb, Ilinois and continues to make her progression eastward, living in Aurora and commuting to the “Big City.” Vanessa, with her husband and two small children, enjoy cooking, gardening, camping and entertaining friends and family.

 

Julie A. Mulligan

Account Manager, Nursing and Allied Services

Julie has had an extensive and successful career in the healthcare industry, with over 23 years in healthcare staffing. She is an expert in recruiting, credentialing and staffing quality healthcare personnel. She understands the dynamics of agency staffing and how to secure the perfect fit for both client and staff. She holds a B.S. from Western Illinois University.

 

Liliana Salazar Jaramillo

Compliance Manager

Liliana joined Med-Call Healthcare in October 2012 after over a decade of database administration with public and private industries. Ms. Salazar Jaramillo was part of the management team that helped Med-Call with the Joint Commission certification in 2013, and currently evaluates and monitors all required documentation needed to be in compliance ever since. She holds a BA in Non-Profit Management from DePaul University, and is currently working towards her Masters and Ph.D. in Public Service from the same school. In her spare time, she also runs her own non-profit organization that supports the local community by providing Thanksgiving baskets during the holiday.

 

Tialena Walker

Administrative Assistant

Tia has been in the healthcare staffing industry since 2013.  She assists in many administrative capacities including payroll, scheduling, and accounts receivable.  In her spare time Tia enjoys knitting, making candles, and spending time with family and friends.
